After nearly two decades managing the behind-the-scenes operations of local businesses, I launched Nina Moore Virtual Assistant to support people just like you: sole traders, directors and small business owners trying to do it all.
Based in Cockermouth, I bring over 16 years’ experience in HR, finance and operations, having worked in senior roles across estate agents, the Civil Service and family-run businesses. I’ve handled everything from recruitment to credit control, often all in the same week.
Now I use that experience to help other business owners stay organised, reduce stress and get things done, without the cost or commitment of hiring in-house.
Why I started Nina Moore Virtual Assistant
I launched Nina Moore Virtual Assistant in 2025 after years of seeing just how stretched small business owners can be. I knew there was a better way to support them, one that offered experience, flexibility and reliability without the overhead of hiring in-house. Learn more about my services here.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the one-person businesses and family-run teams doing amazing work behind the scenes. They often can’t afford the help they need, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it. My goal is to make their work life a little lighter, whether that’s sorting their admin, streamlining their inbox or being the safe pair of hands they can rely on.
Grounded in Cockermouth
I’m a true Cockermouthian with deep family roots, and many local businesses already know my face! I live locally, shop locally and proudly support the town’s thriving business community. I’m an active member of the Cockermouth Chamber of Trade and passionate about championing the small and solo businesses that make this place so special.
My brand reflects that grounding. The identity was developed with local designer Dan McAulay Marketing and is inspired by the Cumbrian countryside, forest tones, clean lines and calm geometry. It’s a quiet nod to my family’s connection to forestry and to the practical, thoughtful way I work.
